Chris Young joins Fraternity & Sorority Life
as assistant director beginning July 1, 2019
Young, a University of Michigan graduate, will primarily work with the Interfraternity Council leaders and chapter stakeholders to develop, implement, and assess programs and policies that support a developmental, healthy undergraduate fraternity experience.
Young currently serves as the Interfraternity Council Advisor at the University of Michigan, and has also worked as a fraternity chapter consultant and high school teacher. He has experience implementing health and safety initiatives, new recruitment structures, and departmental initiatives such as the Michigan Men program.
“We are really excited to bring Chris to our community. He will bring new ideas, energy, and an outside perspective to help advise our chapters and the IFC board more effectively.” said Timmy Brill, Interfraternity Council President.
Outside of work, Young is an avid fan of both soccer and college football. He is new to Manhattan and looks forward to experiencing all it has to offer.
